Air Canada Flight Travel Classes
Signature Class
Signature Class is basically Air Canada’s international business class service. This service is offered on all the wide-body aircraft. This comes with two cabins: the Executive Pod and Classic Pod. All the services come with AVOD (Audio Video on Demand) on a touch screen, noise cancellation headphones. The Executive Pods can be found on-board the Boeing 777, and 787, and are also being rolled out on Airbus A330-300. The seats come with electronic flat beds in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone setup that has a seat pitch of 21 inches, and an 18-inch touchscreen. The Classic Pods come with flat beds of 1-1-1 herringbone configuration. They too have a 21-inch seat pitch, and a 12-inch touchscreen.
Business Class
Business Class is offered on all narrow-body aircraft aside from the Air Canada Express CRJ-900 and E175 aircraft. Onboard CRJ-900 and E175, the seat recline at 120 degree. On Airbus and Boeing narrow-body aircraft, the seat with 124 degree recline. The seat pitch is at 37 to 38 inches. The seats each come with AVOD with music provided by XM Satellite Radio.
Premium Economy
The Premium Economy service is offered on all Airbus A330, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787. These cabins come with a larger seat and greater recline compared to Economy, with a 2-4-2 configuration on Boeing 777, 2-3-2 configuration on Airbus A330 and Boeing 787. The seat pitch is between 37 to 38 inches. There is personal entertainment on AVOD and the music is provided by XM Satellite Radio. On Air Canada Rouge, the Premium Economy product is called Premium Rouge, and within North America, the same is sold as Business Class on Rouge flights.
Economy Class
The Economy Class has a seat pitch of 30 to 32 inches and a recline of 3 to 6 inches. On Air Canada Rouge flights, the seat pitch is 29 to 30 inches. The configuration of the same is 3-4-3 on Boeing 777, and 3-3-3 on Boeing 787. On Airbus A330 it is 2-4-2, and 3-3 on Boeing 838 Max and Airbus A320 series. It is 2-3 on Airbus A220 and 2-2 on Bombardier, De Havilland and Embraer aircraft. The Airbus, Embraer and Boeing come fitted with personal AVOD and the music is provided by XM Satellite Radio.
